Before becoming president, he lived and practiced law in Springfield IL. Come see his house, visit the museum that commemorates his life, and walk through his tomb.

Arrive around 9:45am – Lincoln Visitor Center10:10 – 11:10pm - Visit the Historic Lincoln’s Home (tickets reserved) 11:30-12:00 – Tour of the Illinois State Capital 12:00 – 1:00 Lunch – Jimmy John’s sandwiches selection provided – Eat outside if the weather is nice. 1:15 – 2:15 Tour of IL Supreme Court with John Lupton, Executive Director History Programs. Walk by Old State Capital Building (being renovated) and Lincoln Law Office 2:30 – 4:30 – Visit Lincoln Museum (the group rate of $10/person) This is a very interesting museum and a highlight of the trip.
